Criss cross saucer suspension m Georges nelson

Shipping in 4 weeks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bubble suspensions, with various spherical shapes, bring a touch of softness and diffuse luminosity. Designed in 1952 by George Nelson, these elegant lamps rest on a sturdy and light steel frame while forming an airy and delicate ensemble. Nelson was inspired by a set of Swedish silk-covered hanging lamps he wanted to acquire for his office. Unfortunately, the price seemed unaffordable to him. Nelson being a clever and resourceful designer, he created the first set of Bubble lamps by spraying a white, translucent resin, a technique developed at the time by the U.S. military. Nelson drew his inspiration from a variety of simple and natural forms to design these suspensions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Dimensions : E44.5xh.15cm, Medium E63xh.24cm - Materials: polymer sprayed on a steel frame - Accessories: cord of 183 cm maximum and brushed nickel ceiling plate. - E27 60 watt bulb not supplied - Maintenance: soft cloth
